Live-in Home Care

Live-In Home Care is an option for families who need more care around the clock.


When you or a loved one need an increased level of care, you still have the option to remain at home. You might be the daughter or son who has been helping mom or dad and things have just reached a point where you need a little help yourself. 24 hour home care means that a caregiver is available when needed, but that your loved one has the personal space and autonomy as if they were living alone. When considering the live-in care option, our clients are usually unaware how broad of services a non-medical caregiver can provide.These duties usually fall within the realm of a personal care assistant, tending to a senior’s homemaking, and companionship needs.Providing your loved ones with around-the-clock non-medical home care can also be a preventative way to avoid a nursing home.

 

Live in services also include:

 

  • Bathing

  • Skin care and make-up

  • Continence care

  • Dressing and grooming

  • Personal hygiene

  • Nutrition

  • Toileting assistance

  • Range-of-motion assistance

  • Transfer and ambulatory assistance

Over Night Care

This service involves a caregiver assisting with a few hours of care before bed and after a good night’s rest.
They are there to assist you during the night if your loved one is unable to sleep or needs to use the restroom. Having a caregiver in the home as your loved one sleeps gives peace of mind and security while you rest, enabling you to wake up fresh to go about your day.

 

Regular Home Care

Regular home care provides the same services as live-in home care, just not around the clock. It is a hourly service. You may choose how many days and hours you may like.
